HOLLYWOOD VETERAN DEBORAHM PRATT LAUNCHES MULTIPLATFORM INTERACTIVE ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY V GLOBAL MEDIA

(Los Angeles, October 15, 2001) -- Award winning Writer/Producer/Director Deborahm Pratt announced today the formation of V Global Media to develop, produce and distribute multidimensional, interactive entertainment content across a variety of media. The company will produce action-packed, fast-paced, theme-based virtual world experiences for film and television, as well as interactive web-based single-player, multi-player and massively multiplayer online role-playing games (MMORPGs).  This content is designed for multiple platforms to fit the lifestyle of the target audience.

Additionally, the online content will provide accessibility for advertisers who wish to explore the growing benefits of "advergaming." The online interactive components are designed for both dial-up and broadband, with development for wireless Internet connections to come in the near future.

"V Global Media will create fully developed entertainment experiences, providing thrilling, positive and fun edutainment-based worlds," said Pratt, the company's President and CEO. "These worlds are based on great stories, multi-faceted characters, political, social and real science-facts projected into an exciting and probable future. Players in each of the various worlds will be able to advance their knowledge of our society (past, present and future), test their values and create global relationships with other players as they advance through multiple levels of play."

Recently, RedHerring.com reported that while the 25 million online game-players generated $106 million in 2000, the market is expected to reach close to $1 billion within 3 years.

The company's first project, The Vision QuestÔ, will combine a revolutionary mix of traditional television, episodic mini-games and serialized webisodes all written within the framework of a single continuous "world." The first release of The Vision Quest mini-game series will be available online in the Spring of 2002. The worlds of The Vision Quest, along with their heroes and villains, have been an ongoing project of Pratt's for almost 20 years.  The stories are written, produced and directed with the imagination, exploration, and intricate attention to detail, that has become Deborahm’s trademark in television series’ like Quantum Leap, The Net, and

the critically acclaimed feature Cora Unashamed.

V Global Media provides multi-dimensional entertainment experiences via multiple levels of participation from both consumers/audiences and corporate sponsorships.

Deborahm Pratt has been generating award-winning film and television content for over two decades. Her credits include co-creator and executive producer of the television series version of The Net and co-executive producer, as well as head writer of the award-winning sci-fi series, Quantum Leap, which still airs in worldwide syndication.  Quantum Leap, which originally aired for five years, was awarded

multiple Emmys, two Golden Globes and numerous other prestigious awards. Quantum Leap became a

cult phenomenon, with an active, loyal fan club ("Leapers") of approximately 7 million worldwide. As a producer, Ms. Pratt is a four-time Emmy nominee and Golden Globe nominee.  As a television writer, she was awarded the Lillian Gish Award from Women in Film, The Angel Award, The Golden Block Award and five BEN awards.

Ms. Pratt made her directorial debut with Girlfriends, a short film written and produced by her in association with the American Film Institute.  Girlfriends won first place in the 1997 Black Film Makers Hall of Fame for best short film, The St. Louis Film Festival, The CINE Golden Eagle Awards in Washington, D.C., and the New York Exposition Festival. Girlfriends aired on Showtime as a winner of the 1998 Filmmakers Festival.  Her most recent directing endeavor, a feature-length film for the BBC’s Exxon-Mobil Masterpiece Theatre and ALT Films, entitled Cora Unashamed, aired in October 2000, bringing in PBS’s highest ratings for a dramatic movie.
