(LOS ANGELES - November 13, 2001) – Ex-Pittard Sullivan strategic marketing veteran Rob Maresca has joined multi-access entertainment provider V Global Media as Chief Marketing Officer, it was announced today by the company's CEO Deborahm Pratt.  In his new role, Maresca will be responsible for creating and implementing strategic marketing and business initiatives for the company, as well as directing all of its branding efforts. He will report directly to Pratt.

"From a strategic marketing and business development perspective, there's nobody who knows entertainment media better than Rob," said Pratt.  " His expertise will be invaluable as we develop our entertainment content for various media platforms.

"Deborahm’s plan for V Global Media is visionary," said Maresca.  "With her proven track record in producing compelling, entertaining content, and the depth of the management team she has put together, V Global Media represents the next level of entertainment.

Maresca has an extensive background in marketing communications, brand development and advertising.  Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President of Strategy and Planning at branding powerhouse Pittard Sullivan.  Maresca's projects included the complete re-branding and re-launch of the TV Guide Brand, Fox Kids Network, Sony Game Show Network, Open TV, UPC and Deutsche Telekom’s MediaVision, as well as numerous start up dot-com clients.  Previously, he served in senior management positions with Hanna-Barbera Studios and Tyco Toys. As an independent consultant, and President of Rocket Branding and Strategic Services, Maresca advised some of the world's largest entertainment and advertising companies, including Sony Pictures; Nickelodeon Studios; Foote, Cone & Belding and McCann-Erickson, among others.  He began his career at advertising powerhouses Kenyon & Eckhardt and Young & Rubicam in New York and Ogilvy & Mather in Los Angeles.

V Global Media is a provider of multi-access interactive entertainment experiences.  It creates, develops, produces, and distributes compelling content designed to intersect with an audience’s lifestyle across all relevant platforms.

The company's first project, The Vision Quest(TM), will combine a revolutionary mix of traditional theatrical and television distribution and episodic mini-games all written within the framework of a single continuous "world.'' The first of ten pre-releases for The Vision Quest property will be “Right of Passage” available online in the Spring of 2002, and on-air Summer of ’02.

The worlds of The Vision Quest, along with their heroes and villains, have been an ongoing project of Pratt's for almost 20 years.  The stories are written, produced and directed with the imagination, exploration, and intricate attention to detail, that has become Deborahm’s trademark in television series like Quantum Leap, The Net, and the critically acclaimed feature Cora Unashamed.
